Babeboss speaks

Cartier Polo Sunday 27th July 2008

I first heard of the Cartier Polo in 2006 when Mischa Barton went and there were masses of newspaper columns going to good use, and I said to myself this is the event I have to be at year on year……

After a long drive back from the Womad festival on Saturday night to my abode in London, I have awakened on this beautiful hot day in a bit of bother. Out of no where the event I would describe as the best in England has arrived and I have stupidly enough not ordered my ticket for this years Cartier Polo. Well the first thought in my mind was sack the PR! How could Babeboss not attend the event which without doubt would have tons of hotties and some of his favourite babes in attendance? If the last resort occurred of not finding a ticket, I would just have to turn up and gatecrash and somehow achieve the unthinkable! Well, it’s about 11.30 am and as usual being on demand 24/7 Babeboss’s phone is ringing! The caller though is a really good pal of mine from Russia and was the one person I really wanted a call from, god had answered my prayers!!! “Be ready for 1.30pm at yours, we are going to the Polo….and I am driving”

I waiting on my street with my bottles of wine ready for the onslaught, and up pulls my Ruski pal in his Range Rover and off we head to the Guards Polo Club in Windsor, its going to be one hell of a party!

We arrive and it’s scorching hot, it really wasn’t the best idea to dress in a suit but being Babeboss and all I wanted to look professional and dazzling for my celebrity babes! We have arrived at the perfect time, and take our seats in the Guards polo stand. After watching one chukka of England vs. Australia, I believe this is known as a quarter and they play four in total in this very odd game I must say! It was a group consensus to make our way to the Pimms stand and get some much needed cold drinks down us. The queue was so long, we missed the second chukka and decided at this point it was time to head to the Cartier tent.

Babeboss remembered the moment he walked through the Cartier area, why he loved this event so much. The champagne was flowing like it was on tap and he got talking to and took many photographs with some of the gorgeous stars in attendance with sexy and alluring Dita Von Teese and that gorgeous Australian babe Natalie Imbruglia. He had a quick chat with Jenson Button the Formula One driver and shared a few jokes with Kris Marshall that awesome actor from My Family and Love Actually who stars in all the BT broadband adverts at the moment. Unfortunately, I didn’t bump into Emma Watson although she was there and Kelly Brook……nor did I bump into Jordan who unfortunately from what I read in the papers couldn’t get into the Cartier area……she should have called the Babeboss!

Although Kelly Brook was there, I was a bit unsure about the gloves she chose to wear with her outfit but from the photos she definitely did look gorgeous. One babe who I just love to pieces the adorable Tamsin Egerton who refused to let me have a photo with her, because her agent refused a request for an interview with me! I was rather upset, seeing as I am such a big fan of the British Actress….she is my babe of babes, .Just goes to show you though, Tamsin didn’t get one inch of column space or her photo on any of the online newspaper websites. It seems to me Tamsin if you are not going to promote yourself, you have to do it to even the likes of Babe100.com or what is going to happen? Nothing? So next time Tamsin I recommend you get a photo with Babeboss at least we will give you much deserved column space cause it seems to me all the press in attendance at Cartier didn’t know who you were and you clearly turned up to get some column inches??

Well enough bickering, just had to vent my frustration! One thing I do recommend though is sack your agent Tamsin and get someone decent from America! Lol! I was disappointed not to bump into James Bond’s Rosamund Pike, but I’ll surely get another opportunity as we go to the same gym!

Now time was fast approaching to leave the Cartier Champagne taps and make our way down to the Chinawhite tent to the mother of all parties. It was awesome, there were hotties everywhere and the DJ to the celebrities was playing Mark Ronson. Glass after glass of red wine was downed, as in attendance were many of the high society’s socialites from the Branson’s Holly and Sam, Agyness Dean and even Caprice.

It was a shame I couldn’t bump into all the stars but it was a busy day and one hell of a crazy party in the Chinawhite tent. I was just having too much fun to hunt them all down.

As the party neared to an end, my entourage decided it was time for the party to carry on in London. Although we had access to the official after party at Whisky Mist due to our Cartier Polo access all areas we made our way to Boujis in South Kensington.

We partied our socks off till about 3.00am until our night was ended as Boujis decided to lock up shop.

All I can say is! I can’t wait till next year, this is the event of all events…….
Oh and by the way Tamsin I am going to use a pic of you from the Dark Knight premiere when I nearly got to speak to you, never mind, I think you are the hottest babe around, you did smell nice and looked just so gorgeous, if you won’t do a Babeboss ASKs interview at least let me take you to dinner.

Luv the Babeboss.
