30/10/2007 PROJECT GOTHAM RACING (Bizarre Creations, XBOX) There’s one thing babeboss and I always get to agree on guaranteed to make us feel all hot and throbbing – fast cars. I can’t get enough of ‘em…or men who press that throttle hard to the ground and take me all the way to the limit. Where’s Lewis Hamilton when I need him? Well, racing cars, I guess so I am left with the next best thing – Project Gotham Racing, one of the most exciting things you can do strapped in a chair with all your clothes on. Bill Gates is on record as saying this is his favourite video game and ol’ Bill knows what he’s talking about. Feel the thrill of gut-wrenching speed, the challenge of racing round tight corners, negotiating hazards in the road and holding your car on a straight course. This is one game where winning is not enough, it’s all about scoring points for skill and speed along the way on courses set in different cities in the world with a variety of vehicles to choose from. After three instalments already, Bizarre have responded to the challenge of making a fourth instalment as original and exciting as the first by adding bikes to the equation. Yep, this means I can don leathers this time round, too – I do like a bit of black leather next to my skin, babeluvers. The rest of it is refined too. More venues, more vehicles, more skids, more everything really. I’m gonna get the babeboss round and whup his controls. And I can tell you, babeluvers, babeboss really doesn’t like having his controls whupped. | ||
